Credits
The sources and publishers behind WHERE’s listings, artwork and ratings. Each title’s Sources & artwork credits includes its record, image creator and reuse terms.
Ratings & publisher marks
Rating observations come from the credited metadata source, including Wikidata’s CC0 statements and TVmaze’s CC BY-SA 4.0 records. They are dated observations, rather than a live feed from every publisher. Original units and methods remain separate.
- IMDb
- Unmodified wordmarks from the official IMDb brand toolkit, using the black or white variant for legibility. IMDb’s original rating scale is preserved.
- Rotten Tomatoes®
- FreshRottenHot · AudienceStale · Audience
The original tomato and splat identify an explicitly reported Tomatometer® percentage. Red or tipped green popcorn identifies an explicitly reported audience percentage. Positive symbols start at 60%; lower percentages use the negative symbol. Other measures use the publisher wordmark. Branded scores link to the corresponding publisher title page. Certified Fresh™ and Verified Hot awards are never inferred from a number.
- Metacritic
- The official Metacritic mark accompanies reported scores. Movie and TV Metascores out of 100 use the publisher’s green (61–100), yellow (40–60) and red (0–39) score treatment. Mark & score-display specifications.
- TVmaze
- The original TVmaze logo accompanies TVmaze’s reported show and episode ratings. TVmaze API & attribution terms.
IMDb, IMDbPro, STARmeter, and all related logos are trademarks of IMDb.com, Inc. or its affiliates. Rotten Tomatoes®, Tomatometer® and Popcornmeter™ marks belong to Rotten Tomatoes / Fandango. Metacritic and Metascore marks belong to their respective owners. TVmaze’s logo identifies TVmaze.
Publisher marks identify the reported rating system; they do not imply endorsement. Scores retain their source’s scale, method and observation date. Rating logo credits & display guidelines.
Movie, series & episode metadata
- TVmaze: show and episode information under CC BY-SA 4.0.
- Wikidata: structured title facts, identifiers and rating observations under CC0. Revision-bound series facts retain native date precision and reference identifiers; they do not set a canonical premiere or infer production countries from channels.
- omdb.org: the open movie database’s title-name and type index under CC BY 2.0 DE. This is separate from OMDb API.
- Film Nagar: eligible catalog identifiers used for discovery under its public API terms (draft). Metadata is fetched directly from Wikidata; Film Nagar’s prose, ratings and artwork are not imported.
WHERE selects and normalizes fields, retains source identities and dates, and keeps viewing availability separate. Source coverage, changes & dataset downloads.
Artwork & other credits
Broadcast and streaming-release schedule data is credited to TVmaze under CC BY-SA 4.0, with an adapted schedule dataset. The US-only Wikimedia Commons full-film viewing listing retains its file-specific rights statement and author credit in viewing options. Night of the Living Dead (1968), George A. Romero — source and US public-domain information.
TVmaze artwork follows its image-use terms. Wikimedia Commons images retain their individual creator, source and license in each title’s credits; their licenses are independent of Wikidata’s CC0 metadata. Covers crop to fit discovery rows; detail covers preserve the source image.
League, channel and sport artwork has its own logo collection & attribution notes. Some venue time zones derive from GeoNames, under CC BY 4.0. Interface icons are from Lucide.
Wikipedia overviews
Selected introductory paragraphs are adapted from English Wikipedia by Wikipedia contributors under CC BY-SA 4.0. WHERE selects one paragraph from a verified revision, removes notes, tables, quotations and media, converts HTML to plain text and shortens long text. Each displayed overview links its exact revision, author history and license in Sources & artwork credits. These paragraphs keep their own license and are separate from Wikidata CC0 facts; Wikipedia artwork is not copied.
KinoCheck — official trailer links
Selected trailer titles, publication dates and outbound video links come from KinoCheck’s public API. WHERE attaches them only to an existing title with a current, unique IMDb identity and matching movie or series type. Trailer dates describe the video, not a film release or series premiere. A season trailer does not establish episode coverage or where to stream the title. Coverage varies, and links may be region-restricted. This API-use licensed metadata is separate from the open datasets; KinoCheck artwork and video files are not copied.
